Pakistan is aiming to prepare and deploy 400,000 skilled workers for infrastructure and development projects linked to the FIFA World Cup 2034.
The initiative is expected to create significant overseas employment opportunities for Pakistani workers, particularly in sectors such as construction, engineering, electrical work, plumbing, hospitality, and other technical trades. Officials believe the move will not only boost remittances but also enhance Pakistan’s global workforce presence.
Authorities are reportedly working on skill development and training programs to ensure Pakistani workers meet international standards and can effectively contribute to large-scale World Cup-related projects.
