Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar has been awarded the Sitara-e-Imtiaz, one of Pakistan’s highest civilian honors, in recognition of his services in improving law and order across the province.
The award acknowledges his ongoing efforts to strengthen security in Sindh, particularly through large-scale operations against dacoit networks operating in rural areas and sustained crackdowns on drug trafficking networks. Under his leadership, law enforcement initiatives have focused on restoring stability, reducing organized crime and improving public safety in both urban centers and the interior regions of the province.
His contributions are being recognized as part of broader provincial efforts to boost institutional performance and create safer communities for the people of Sindh. Officials have highlighted notable improvements in coordinated policing strategies and targeted operations against criminal elements during his tenure as Home Minister.
