The Federal Government has announced a Rs. 13.18 per litre increase in petrol prices, bringing a fresh financial burden for consumers across Pakistan.
The revised fuel price will take effect from the notified date and is expected to impact transportation costs, household expenses, and overall inflation. The adjustment follows the government’s regular fuel price review based on international oil prices and exchange rate movements.
Officials say the revised pricing is part of the government’s fortnightly petroleum price adjustment mechanism.
