The government has restored motorway speed limits, allowing cars and other light vehicles to travel at up to 120 km/h, while heavy vehicles will now be permitted to travel at speeds of up to 110 km/h.
The revised limits are expected to improve travel efficiency and reduce journey times on the country’s motorway network. Authorities have, however, urged motorists to continue adhering to traffic laws and maintain safe driving practices to ensure road safety.
Officials emphasized that strict monitoring and enforcement will remain in place, and drivers violating speed regulations or other traffic rules may still face penalties.
