Expressing deep sorrow over the incident, the chief minister extended her condolences to the bereaved families and directed the relevant authorities to ensure the best possible medical treatment for those injured. She also ordered a thorough investigation into the incident and instructed officials to identify those responsible for any negligence.
The Punjab government reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the affected families while taking steps to prevent similar incidents in the future.
