ran Att@cks Kuwait Airport — Health Ministry Reports 63 Injuries

At least 63 people were injured after Iranian missile and drone strikes targeted Kuwait International Airport on June 3, according to Kuwait’s Health Ministry — in what authorities have described as a serious violation of international law and a major escalation of regional tensions.

The attack caused significant damage to the airport’s main passenger terminal, disrupting flight operations across the country and triggering an immediate emergency response from Kuwaiti authorities.

Dozens of ambulances rushed to the scene, transporting injured passengers, airport workers and civilians to nearby hospitals. Health officials confirmed that several victims suffered serious injuries including head trauma, internal bleeding and blast-related wounds, with some requiring emergency surgery.

Terminal 1 of Kuwait International Airport sustained considerable damage in the attack, forcing authorities to suspend and divert flights while emergency plans were activated across the airport. Flight operations were partially restored later after comprehensive safety assessments were carried out.

Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the attack and confirmed that one person was killed during the incident. Officials described the strike as a clear violation of international law and stated that Kuwait reserves the right to take appropriate measures in response.

The attack marks one of the most serious escalations in regional tensions in recent months and has raised urgent and deeply concerning questions about the safety of civilian infrastructure and air travel across the Gulf region. 🔴
