Hajj Flights in Full Swing as Over 44,000 Pakistani Pilgrims Touch Down in Saudi Arabia

More than 44,000 Pakistani pilgrims have made their way to Saudi Arabia for Hajj 2026 as Pakistan’s pre-Hajj flight operation continues to progress smoothly.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has confirmed that a total of 44,908 pilgrims have arrived via 176 flights operated so far. Thousands of pilgrims are currently present in the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, where dedicated arrangements have been put in place to meet their accommodation and transportation needs.

Flights from Pakistan are continuing to depart on a daily basis, with the overall operation expected to remain active until May 21. To support pilgrims throughout their journey, the government has arranged accommodation, meals, transportation, and medical services.

Pakistan has been allocated a Hajj quota of 179,210 pilgrims this year under a formal agreement with Saudi authorities. Special teams have been deployed in Saudi Arabia to provide on-ground assistance to Pakistani pilgrims. The annual Hajj pilgrimage draws millions of Muslims from across the globe each year.
