A woman named Anmol, also known as Pinky, has grabbed public attention after being brought before a court in Karachi without handcuffs following her arrest in a major drug case. Videos and photos shared online showed her appearing calm and confident while being escorted by the investigating officer during the court hearing, which quickly sparked debate on social media.
According to police, Anmol alias Pinky was arrested during an intelligence-based operation carried out by Garden Police with support from security agencies. The raid was conducted after authorities received information about an alleged drug supply network operating across several major cities in Pakistan.
Investigators claim that Anmol was involved in the production and distribution of Coc@ine in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. During the operation, law enforcement recovered semi-prepared narcotics, chemicals allegedly used in drug manufacturing, capsules and other materials connected to what police describe as a mobile drug laboratory.
A pistol and several bottles of homemade red wine were also seized from the premises during the raid. Police further alleged that the suspect had been producing and supplying expensive variants of Coc@ine known as “White Coke” and “Golden Coke,” which were reportedly being sold to high-end clients.
The case has drawn widespread public interest, not only because of the serious nature of the allegations but also due to the way the suspect was presented in court without handcuffs — a detail that many people found unusual and worth questioning.
Authorities confirmed that investigations are still ongoing to determine the full extent of the network and identify anyone else who may have been involved in the operation.
