The Government of Pakistan has announced a reduction of Rs. 1.97 per litre in the price of petrol, providing modest relief to consumers.
Following the latest revision, the new petrol price has been fixed at Rs. 297.53 per litre. The revised rate will take effect from the official implementation date announced by the government.
The adjustment comes as part of the government’s regular fortnightly review of petroleum prices, taking into account international oil market trends and exchange rate movements.
