More than 61,000 Pakistani pilgrims have reached Saudi Arabia under the government Hajj scheme as Pakistan’s Hajj flight operation for 2026 continues from major cities across the country.

According to officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, the total number of Pakistani pilgrims arriving in the holy cities has reached 61,147. During the last 24 hours alone, an additional 4,875 pilgrims landed in Makkah and Madinah through scheduled Hajj flights.

Pakistan Hajj Flight Operations Continue Smoothly

The ministry said that Hajj flight operations are continuing in an organized and smooth manner, with special arrangements being made to facilitate pilgrims traveling from different regions of Pakistan.

Officials stated that coordination between Pakistani and Saudi authorities has helped ensure efficient management of flight schedules, airport handling, and accommodation services during the large-scale Hajj operation.

Additional Hajj flights are expected to continue in the coming days until all registered pilgrims reach Saudi Arabia before the official start of Hajj rituals.

Accommodation, Transport, and Medical Facilities for Pilgrims

Under the government Hajj scheme, Pakistani pilgrims are being provided accommodation, transport, meals, and medical support during their stay in Saudi Arabia.

Authorities said dedicated Hajj mission teams are actively monitoring services in Makkah and Madinah to ensure comfort, safety, and convenience for pilgrims throughout the pilgrimage season.

Special arrangements have also been made for healthcare support, emergency assistance, and guidance services to help pilgrims perform Hajj rituals smoothly.

Government Prioritizes Better Hajj Services

The Ministry of Religious Affairs emphasized that improving Hajj management and providing quality services to pilgrims remains a top priority for the government.

Officials advised pilgrims to follow official guidelines, cooperate with Hajj mission staff, and stay informed about travel and accommodation instructions to avoid delays or difficulties during the pilgrimage.

The ongoing Hajj operation reflects Pakistan’s continued efforts to improve pilgrimage services through better coordination, organized travel management, and enhanced facilities for thousands of pilgrims traveling to Saudi Arabia each year.
